Where the Water Keeps Her is an original 16x20 acrylic painting from the Art & Pretties archives, created more than a decade ago.

A solitary feminine figure stands amid a field of abstract water, rendered in soft blush pink against layers of rich turquoise and blue. Her windswept hair and simplified silhouette give the piece a dreamlike, almost otherworldly feeling — somewhere between solitude, reflection, and becoming part of the landscape itself.

The repeating organic shapes across the water add movement and texture, while the limited pink-and-blue palette gives the piece a striking graphic quality.

This is a one-of-a-kind original from an earlier chapter of my artistic journey and a rare surviving piece from the Art & Pretties archives.
