Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Kara — artist, creator, collector of strange little moments, and lifelong weird kid at heart.

I create art inspired by emotion, nostalgia, nature, fantasy, motherhood, and the beautifully unsettling things that linger somewhere between memory and imagination. My work often blends softness with darkness, whimsy with unease, and childlike wonder with raw human feeling.

I’ve always been drawn to creating things by hand — painting, jewelry, mixed media, and pieces that feel personal and alive. Whether it’s a ghost floating at sea, a strange creature with gentle eyes, or a moment pulled from everyday life and transformed into something dreamlike, I want my art to make people feel something real.

Much of my work is rooted in storytelling and emotion rather than perfection. I believe art should feel human, textured, imperfect, and honest.

When I’m not creating, I’m usually chasing inspiration through rabbit holes, nature walks, strange conversations, late-night ideas, and the chaos of motherhood.
